Susan Young gently departed this world on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and committed dedication to her community. Susan Crow was born on July 5, 1954, to the late James “Buddy” and Sue Crow. She had an enormous influence on everyone in her vicinity.
After graduating from Corinth High School in 1972, Susan pursued her education at Northeast Community College. Her dedication to study and progress was evident in her job as the office manager and executive secretary in the District Attorney’s office in the First Circuit Court District, where she served faithfully for over 30 years. She became an indispensable member of the legal community due to her consistent dedication and professionalism.
Beyond her career, Susan had a profound impact on the community at First Methodist Church, where her generosity and sense of belonging were deeply appreciated. Her fervent participation in church activities demonstrated her enduring faith and dedication to building relationships with others in her community.
Susan loved to travel and especially loved going to beach areas; it was one of her biggest delights in life. Whether traveling to new locations or going back to well-known beaches, Susan found happiness and comfort in the ocean’s rhythmic embrace.
