Ron Nicasio Drowning Accident, Obituary, Death – On Sunday, a guy passed away while vacationing in a tropical area with his spouse. According to Hawaii News Now, a local news source, Ronald Nicasio, a Nevada native, was saved from the waves at Hanalei Bay but was later declared dead. The Kaua’i Police said in their first investigation that Nicasio, 57, passed unconscious and was assisted by bystanders to the shore.
After dragging Nicasio roughly 150 yards away from a lifeguard tower, the group made a help request to the Ocean Safety Bureau. When the lifeguards got there, they started performing CPR and utilizing an automated external defibrillator (AED) in an effort to revive him. Firefighters from the Hanalei Fire Station arrived on the site and began CPR until an American Medical Response (AMR) representative took over.
The AMR staff allegedly continued to treat Nicasio while he was being carried to the Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead, according to the Kaua’i Police. The autopsy has not been finished yet. According to the organization, Nicasio’s family is presently receiving assistance from volunteers from Life’s Bridges, a bereavement counseling service, and the Visitor Aloha Society of Kaua’i (VASK), a nonprofit that attends to travelers’ emergency needs.
GoFundMe pages were set up to assist Nicasio’s wife Carmina, who was with him on vacation at the time of the tragedy. One person described them as “the couple everyone aspires to be a part of.” Ron’s best companion and love, Cinnamon, will mourn him the most because he departed this life far too soon. The statement continues, “Carmina needs our help right now. She always seizes the opportunity to help others in need, be compassionate, and lend a hand.” Donations to the campaign totaled $1,180 before it was closed.
