Phillip Fasso Obituary, Death – Phillip Joseph Fasso, age 76, of Kansas City, Missouri, died away without suffering on September 19, 2023. He was surrounded by his devoted family and friends at the time of his passing. On the Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 11:00 am, a service memorial liturgy will be performed at Holy Cross Catholic Church located at 5106 St. John Ave. in Kansas City, Missouri.
Phil spent his whole life in the Kansas City, Kansas metropolitan region, where he was born and raised.
He had been a member of the Catholic Church for his entire life. Phil’s three greatest passions were his family, automobiles, and the company of other people. His enthusiasm for both people and food was evident in a variety of ways, including the fact that he successfully owned and managed a number of restaurants and also ran a catering business. His many nieces and nephews doted on him, and he did the same for them.
Whenever his family got together, he made sure everyone was entertained and fed. Phil’s grandparents George and Josephine Fasso, his parents George and Josephine Fasso, his sister Esther Conaty, his nephew Dennis Conaty, and his great nephew Anthony Michael Conaty all passed away before him.
In addition to a large number of other family and close friends, he is survived by his sister Millie Gross of Kansas City, Kansas, and his sister Antoinette Marie Gifford (Paul) of Gulfport, Florida. In lieu of sending flowers, the family has asked for monetary contributions to be made in Phil’s name to help defray the expense of the unanticipated funeral and memorial ceremonies.
