Peri D Rasko Obituary, Death- We mourn the loss of Peri, a valued nursing mentor and friend. Over 25 years, Peri dedicated herself to healthcare. She changed many lives and left an unforgettable impact on our hearts. As an ER preceptor, Peri inspired many aspiring nurses.
Her compassion, intelligence, and genuine desire to mentor future healthcare workers were evident. Beyond the hospital, Peri taught her mentees empathy and compassion that they still use today. Due to her generosity and warmth, Peri smoothly went from mentor to family over two and a half decades.
She was a beloved friend and coworker who enjoyed life’s joys and supported it through its hardships. Her participation at family gatherings became a tradition, and she was liked by friends and family. Peri was gifted at building relationships and making others feel comfortable.
Her cancer battle ended today, and we grieve this great woman. Peri faced her disease with the same tenacity and bravery as her career, inspiring us. She died at Long Beach Memorial, where she spent a lot of her life, surrounded by loved ones. Peri’s kindness, dedication, and friendship will live on in us.
She will be remembered for her constant support, warm smile, and innumerable people she touched over her extraordinary journey. Her friends, colleagues, and all who were touched by Peri will always remember her. Let us honor her remarkable life and her great impact on us as we mourn her loss. Our generosity and compassion to one another will honor her, a genuinely wonderful person.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to a cancer research foundation in Peri’s name, since she would have wanted to help cure this terrible disease. A memorial service for Peri will be held, We would appreciate your presence and support as we recall and celebrate Peri’s incredible life. Peri, we will always love you and be inspired to do our best. Rest easy, pal. We will miss you, but your legacy will live on.
