Obituary: In Loving Memory Of Beloved Kathleen DiPietro, Cause Of Death

Kathleen Depiero Obituary, Death – On Saturday, December 30, 2017, she was 38 years old when she passed away following a brief bout with illness. She was the adoring wife of Dean DePiero, the doting mother of Blake and Hadley, the dearest daughter of James and Tara Cochrane, the granddaughter of Evelyn Neely, the dear sister of Christopher Cochrane (Cassie),

the daughter-in-law of Roberta and the late Jerry DePiero, and the sister-in-law of Lisa, Chris (Laura), and Matt DePiero (MJ). She passed away on February 1, 2019. After graduating from Parkersburg High School, Kathleen continued her education at Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

After working as a journalist for several years, Kathleen is now a freelance writer. Her work as a reporter and anchor, for which she was awarded an Emmy, carried her to a number of cities throughout the United States, including Parkersburg, West Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Cleveland, Ohio, amongst others.

She was not only talented in the art of storytelling, but also extremely at ease in front of the camera. Her coworkers in the media sector praised her and held her in high regard as an industry professional. Kathleen decided to become a full-time mother to her two children, Blake and Hadley and thus quit a well-paying job in order to do so. Her decision was financially rewarding.

Regardless of the circumstances, she had the intention of being there for each and every one of the waking hours of their lives. Kathleen treasured the time she spent at the lake house that belonged to her family as well as the time she spent in the home on Hilton Head that she and her parents shared. When she was playing the role of hostess, she found the most joy in being in the company of her immediate family and the people she counted as her closest friends.
