Michael Brennan Obituary, Death – With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Michael James Brennan, a beloved soul who departed while indulging in his passion for the outdoors. Michael left this world on November 5th, 2023, at the age of 51, amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia, where he was walking with friends. A devoted and cherished husband to Caroline, Michael was the proud father of Jools and Aoife.
He was the beloved son of Peter and Jane, and a son-in-law to Pauline. Claire, his sister, and his brother-in-law Carl and Penny were an integral part of his close-knit family. Steph, James, and Finley, his nieces and nephew, held a special place in his heart. Michael’s departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His Committal service is scheduled to take place at Shrewsbury Crematorium on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at 12:30 pm, followed by a celebration of his vibrant life at St Oswalds Church, Oswestry, at 2 pm.
All who wish to pay their respects are welcome. In honor of Michael’s love for color, attendees are encouraged to wear attire that reflects their comfort and something reminiscent of him. The family kindly requests no flowers, with donations directed towards supporting the Shrewsbury Mountaineering Club, Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team, the Air Ambulance involved in Michael’s rescue, and the Coastguard rescue in Caernarvon. As we come together to remember Michael, let us celebrate a life well-lived and find solace in the memories that will forever echo in our hearts.
