Luciano Mandarano Obituary, Death – It is with deep sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Lou Mandarano on September 16th after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. The news has left a void in the hearts of many, especially within the close-knit community of the Società Isole Eolie. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Luciano’s family during this difficult time.
Lou, along with his sisters Petrina and Giovanna and his father Domenico, had been active members of the Società for many years. In the 1980s, Luciano served as a Committee Member, and we proudly display a photo of him from that era in our museum room, a testament to his dedication to our community. His image stands alongside other esteemed committee members of that time, reminding us of the legacy he leaves behind.
Luciano will always be remembered for his unwavering commitment to our community and his deep love for all things Aeolian. He was a source of inspiration to many, embodying the values of camaraderie and cultural preservation that our organization holds dear.
