Lora Graber Obituary, Death – The accident occurred late on Saturday night in the northern portion of Daviess County and resulted in the death of a juvenile passenger in the Jeep and the arrest of a second person for questioning in connection with the incident.
The collision took place a few minutes prior to the stroke of midnight near the crossroads of County Road 700 North and County Road 300 East. If you went in that direction, you’d be to Plainville’s southeast.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office received information that a Jeep carrying seven people was spotted driving west on CR 700 N. The Jeep was said to be in Daviess County. The two women who were seated in the front passenger seat did not have any seatbelts on them at any point in time. The sheriff stated that one of the girls was leaning outside the car when it struck the pole. The accident occurred when the Jeep was colliding with the post.
It was determined that the girl had passed away at the scene. It has been determined that her name is Lora Graber and that she was born in Odon. She is also 16 years old. The original result of a blood draw that the driver of the Jeep, Jordan Wagler of Montgomery, freely gave to, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, was 0.18.
Wagler was taken into custody and housed at the Daviess County Security Center after being arrested on one count of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs while causing death. The investigation into what caused the crash is still ongoing at this time.
