Gwyneth Llewellyn Obituary, Death- Gwyneth Llewellyn, who valiantly fought a long illness and left this world in peace on September 13, 2023, is the subject of this announcement, which is being made with heavy hearts. She passed away after a courageous battle against the sickness.
As she made her way toward the end of her life, she did so with the love and support of her family by her side. Gwyneth, a longtime resident of Vivian Terrace in Port Talbot, will be remembered with a great deal of affection by anyone and everyone who had the honor of getting to know her.
Gwyneth was a dedicated wife to her husband Pat, whom she dearly cherished, a loving mother to her children Neil, Donna, and Michael, and a treasured mother-in-law to Peter and Rachel, who passed away. Her role as a Nanna was one that provided her with a great deal of happiness, and she cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren, James, Amber, Carys, Blake, and Scarlett. She found great joy in hearing their laughter and seeing their grins.
She was a beloved sister of Eirlys, as well as a sister-in-law to Brian, Christine, Maureen, Margaret, John & Yvonne, Colin & Charlotte, Anthony & Donna, and the late Elaine. She passed away in 2010. Gwyneth’s warm and caring demeanor extended to her nieces and nephews, each of whom held a unique place in her heart.
Gwyneth cherished all of her nieces and nephews. We will never forget Gwyneth, and this is a monument to the unending love, kindness, and devotion that she had for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. On Friday, September 29, there will be a funeral service held in honor of Gwyneth that will commemorate her life.
At 9.15 in the morning, there will be a Requiem Mass held at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, and then at 10.30 in the morning, there will be a ceremony at Margam Crematorium. Instead of sending flowers, the family would appreciate it if memorial contributions may be sent in Gwyneth’s name to the Neath Port Talbot Parkinson’s Support Group.
