Dennis O’Connell Obituary, Death- We are saddened to inform you of the demise of our dear Brother, Dennis F. O’Connell, who was a committed member of Plumbers’ Union Local No. 55. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

He passed away, leaving behind fond memories and an everlasting impact on all of those who had the privilege of calling him a friend and having the opportunity to be influenced by him. On Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the life of Dennis will be celebrated during visiting hours at the Chambers Funeral Home of N. Olmsted, which is situated at 29150 Lorain Rd. at Stearns Rd.

This celebration will provide the chance for friends, family, and fellow union members to get together and pay their respects to a man who devoted his life to the ideals of hard labor, camaraderie, and service to others in the community. A Funeral Mass in memory of Dennis will be celebrated on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:30 AM at St. Bernadette Church in Westlake, Ohio, which can be found at 2256 Clague Rd.

At this sorrowful event, we will reflect on Dennis’s dedication to his Christian religion, the community he lived in, and the brothers and sisters he worked with in the labor union. After the funeral mass, Dennis will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park, where he will be at rest for all of eternity.

Not only was Dennis F. O’Connell an experienced craftsman, but he was also a dependable supporter of our organization inside the union. His unflinching commitment and relentless efforts have left behind an enduring legacy, which in turn has inspired all of us to carry on the important work that he was so enthusiastic about.

During this difficult time, we want Dennis’s family and friends to know that our thoughts and deepest condolences are with them. May the thought that his memory will long live on in the hearts of those who knew and respected him provide them some measure of comfort in their time of need.
