According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, a 2023 Dodge pickup truck impacted the automobile on its driver’s side as it was traveling north on the highway. Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley said that the collision claimed the lives of the sedan’s driver, 23-year-old Deaundre James of the Oakland region of Dillon County, and a minor passenger, whose identity is not yet known.
