On September 9, 2023, at the age of 55, Dawn left this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Dawn was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience, facing life’s challenges with unwavering determination. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellie Mae Trammel, her sisters, Johnnie Mae Roberts and Barbra Ann McKenzie, and her significant other, Jameson Hines. These departures left a profound void in her heart, which she filled with the love and laughter of those she held dear.

Dawn is survived by her father, Ellie Mae Roberts, her close friend, Jameson Hines, and her three beloved children, Eurika Monsanto, Markie (Sha), and Sha Johnson, all of Albuquerque, NM. She also leaves behind her siblings, Dennis Trammel (DeeBaby) of Prescott, AZ, Willie Trammel of Prescott, AZ, Ocie Trammel of Albuquerque, and Mildred Gibbs of Dallas, TX, along with her brother-in-law, Felix Gibbs of Dallas, TX.

To celebrate Dawn’s life, a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the God’s Way Community Church located at 1701 Walter St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. This will be a time for family, friends, and acquaintances to come together, pay their respects, and share their memories of Dawn.
