It is never easy to deliver news of such heartache and tragedy, but in these trying times, we must unite as a school and a community to support one another and Aubrey’s grieving family. Aubrey was a vibrant and beloved member of our school community, whose bright smile and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts and in our school, a testament to the profound impact she had during her time with us. As we come to terms with this heartbreaking loss, it is crucial that we rally around one another, offering our love, support, and strength to those who need it most.

To aid in the process of healing, our dedicated counselors and support staff will be available on campus beginning Monday, September 25th, and they will remain accessible to students, teachers, and families throughout the week. We encourage anyone who may be struggling to reach out and take advantage of these resources, as they are here to help us navigate this difficult journey together. In honor of Aubrey, there will be an early dismissal for students at 11:30 AM on Monday, September 25th. This early dismissal is to accommodate those who wish to attend Aubrey’s funeral services at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Logansport. Visitation will commence at 12:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. We understand that saying our final goodbyes will be immensely challenging, but being there to support one another in our grief can provide a measure of solace during this trying time.
