Abnerd Joseph Obituary, Death- Chicago— The needless death of 32-year-old Abnerd Joseph, a popular former Atlanta assistant principal, on Thursday, touched many. Chicago’s 100 block of E. Monroe Street high-rise structure tragically claimed Abnerd’s life.

At a little around 7:30 p.m., the Chicago Police Department received a troubling call reporting a shooting. Police found Abnerd Joseph with several gunshot wounds in the corridor after rushing there. Northwestern Hospital’s medical staff tried, but Abnerd Joseph died, leaving a vacuum that can never be filled.

Abnerd Joseph was a remarkable man who illuminated everyone he touched. This unimaginable catastrophe devastated his family and friends. Abnerd was more than a brother to them; he lived to help people. His compassion and dedication to helping others were unwavering.

Chicago’s Intrinsic High School associate principal of culture Abnerd Joseph had a great impact. He worked to improve school climate, discipline, processes, and student safety. His impact on education was tremendous, and his legacy will last. Abnerd inspired and uplifted others as an assistant principal at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools before joining Intrinsic High School. He dedicated his life to education and made significant contributions.
